ANNUAL PICNIC

The first annual local CMP Chapter #24952 picnic was held on July 27, 2024. It was held at Munroe Falls Metro Park at the Maple Beach Shelter, 521 S. River Rd., Munroe Falls, Oh 44264. We had the shelter reserved near the lake. Food was served around 1:00 PM and throughout the afternoon. Don Yoakam did an excellent job with the activities, including the hatched throw! His wife, Bonnie coordinated the entire picnic with the help of the other chapter directors. Full table service will be provided (Cups, Plates, Plasticware z Paper Towels), Drinks (Iced Tea, Lemonade, Bottled Water), Fried Chicken, Pizza, Potato Salad, Chips, Pretzels by the chapter. Registration was done online. Fun was had by all in attendance. Hope that you will join us at future picnic events.

2024 – 8th Annual Turkey Shooting WE BUY THE TURKEY* CMP 24952 Sponsored Competition/Match/Member/Guests Event

Turkey Competition/Match Dates: November 21 – 26, 2024 To be shot at any safe location. Targets must be turn in and fee paid by November 27 at NOON. Classifications: Pistol: .22 caliber (Iron or Optic)/9mm caliber (Iron or Optic) Rifle: .22 caliber (Iron or Optic) Competition Fee: $10.00 per target ($5.00 discount for CMP Membership) Rounds: .22 caliber = 10 rounds / 9mm caliber = 8 rounds Targets: Available online or from RSO at Riverside Gun Club Distances: Pistol (standing only): .22 caliber – Iron = 7 yards / Optic = 10 yards / 9mm caliber - Iron = 7 yards / Optic = 10 yards Rifle (Iron = stand / optic = benched): .22 caliber - Iron = 10 yards / Optic = 25 yards Scoring: best group of 10 shots per session. Decision of the match director is final. Prizes: *We buy the turkey for each of the classifications listed above. Submit your turkey receipt to CMP Director.
