Breakfast Group
Chapter #24952 with Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP)
The Gun club Breakfast Group (GCBG) was established to encourage the 2nd amendment through a social gathering of like-minded individuals. The club meets twice monthly at local restaurants for a great breakfast and super discussion of the aspects of firearms. Our main goal is SAFETY while enjoying America’s number one hobby.
No one gun owner or concealed carrier knows it all. The purpose of the Gun Club Breakfast Group is to promote and foster good sportsmanship, to educate the sportsmen of tomorrow in the safe handling of firearms through safety courses, safe reloading, maintenance, cleaning and to influence the proper protection of oneself and family.
All members are encouraged to join local ranges and support them through memberships. Club members participate in many events at these local clubs.
Members are encouraged to support and join a range of their choice.
The GCBG has available programs for new shooters, new reloaders, pistol/rifle training, and range officers. Many of our members are certified in many aspects of firearms, instruction and education. Many of our members are current NRA and USCCA members.
GCBG is governed by an elected board of directors. The five (5) directors are elected by a vote of the current board with terms not expired. Voting maybe yearly to elect directors whose three (3) year term has expired. Officers are elected by the directors with the president being elected in odd years and the excutive drector elected in even years. Instructors/RSO are appointed by the directors.

Lever Action Rifle Group Monthly
Sponsored by CMP 24952
The LARGM consists of individuals who enjoy shooting lever action rifles in all calibers (except shotgun for indoor ranges). The group would meet monthly on the second (2nd) Thursday for a shooting event at Riverside Range from 6 – 7 PM.
A social event will follow at a local resturant like The Basement in Stow (optional attendance). Discussions and sharing of information regarding lever action rifles, ammo, issues, maintenance, and reloading.
A lever action is a type of action for repeating firearms that uses a manually operated cocking handle located around the trigger guard area (often incorporating it) that pivots forward to move the bolt via internal linkages, which will feed and extract cartridges into and out of the chamber.
Let’s face it, shooting a lever gun is a bit more work than a semi-automatic rifle. They are generally harder to load, working a lever takes a bit of practice to get good at, they are heavy, and for the most part, lever guns are harder to accessorize.
Even though it is a little more work – it is the fun of shooting the style of rifle that won the West for our great experiment – THE USA!
Please register each month if you are planning to attend.
Thank you on behalf of the local CMP 24952 organization.
Further information is available from Thomas (President) or Dale (Executive Director).
